Sable

Producing natural gas and liquids since 1999, the Sable Offshore Energy Project was Canada’s first offshore natural gas project.

After more than 20 successful years, the Sable project ended production on December 31, 2018. The project was Canada’s first offshore natural gas development project, and brought significant benefits to Nova Scotia and the surrounding region.

The project is operated by ExxonMobil Canada, and Imperial is a nine percent partner.
