The majority of our Sarnia refinery and site employees live and raise their families nearby. They work incredibly hard every day to run safe and efficient operations as responsible neighbours.

Imperial manages benzene carefully from extraction, to storage and transportation, to ensure protection of our employees and the public.

Benzene health effects come from long-term exposures. We encourage members of the public who have questions about Ontario government air quality standards to contact the MOECC.
