Indigenous education award

Scholarship details 

Two  scholarships of up to $2,500 for 4 years will be awarded annually to students in the communities listed below (see drop-down list / selection) who are pursuing post-secondary education

  • Recipients must attend their educational institution for one month prior to receiving the award payment

Eligibility requirements

  • Be a resident of Alberta
  • Have a high school diploma or a G.E.D.
  • Must be registered as a full-time student at an accredited Canadian College or University (proof of acceptance is required)

Awards will be based on:

  • Academic merit
  • Leadership and community involvement

*Preference will be given to individuals who have graduated from high school in the current year.

Completed applications must be received by June 1.
