Sarnia manufacturing site

Imperial's Sarnia operation is located in southwestern Ontario and is the most integrated fuels and chemicals manufacturing and petroleum research facility in Canada.

The Sarnia Research Centre is a world-class facility focused on supporting customers, developing and improving petroleum products and providing new technologies to improve environmental performance.

Products:
The refinery produces a range of petroleum products including gasoline, aviation fuel, diesel, home heating fuel and marine fuel.

The Sarnia chemical plant produces a wide range of petrochemical products, including polyethylene. solvents, higher olefins, and aromatics using refinery feedstocks along with external feeds. These products are subsequently used to manufacture many of the products used by people in North America and other parts of the world each day.
