Operations integrity management system (OIMS)

Clearly identifying risk is fundamental to excellence in safety, security, health and environmental performance. We build it into all levels and areas of our business through our Operations Integrity Management System (OIMS).

Under the umbrella of our Environmental Policy and regulatory standards, OIMS guides how we manage environmental performance. OIMS provides a systematic, structured and disciplined approach to identify and manage risk, and measure progress and management accountability.

OIMS includes the Environmental Management System framework which requires operations and development projects to identify how our operations interact with the environment (‘environmental aspects’) and how we must manage that interaction through measurement, stewardship, risk assessment and risk mitigation.
