McMurray Métis and Imperial celebrate new agreement

FORT McMURRAY, ALBERTA — The McMurray Métis and Imperial celebrated the signing of a long-term benefits agreement and commitment to collaboration for the mutual benefit of both parties. The agreement was celebrated on May 5th at the McMurray Métis Monthly Members Meeting. Close to 100 people attended the event, including the McMurray Métis Board of Directors, Local members and Imperial representatives. The event included traditional Métis fiddling and jigging.
