Supporting Calgary arts

At Imperial, we hold a belief that the health and wellbeing of our company is directly tied to the health and wellbeing of the communities where we operate. We feel it’s important to support a range of community activities -- sports, culture, academia and the arts. They’re all part of the fabric behind a vibrant community.

Supporting the arts means we can help make living in Calgary a more interesting and diverse experience. The arts provide a place and opportunity, outside of work, to network, learn and grow. And strong, vibrant communities are attractive from an employee recruitment and retention perspective.

Through our support of the Calgary arts, Imperial is able to provide our employees with unique experiences and performances. Employees can enter in draws for tickets, backstage experiences or attend pop-up performances at our head office in Quarry Park. Our hope is that these experiences not only make Imperial a great place to work, but further support the Calgary arts when employees become audience members, season tickets holders or even individual donors.

In 2017, Imperial supported the following arts organizations:

For five years, Imperial has been the presenting sponsor of Opera in the Village - Canada's only outdoor summer opera festival. Learn more about Opera in the Village.
