Sable offshore energy project
Imperial has a nine percent interest in the Sable offshore energy project.
Sable is a major gas-production venture that is located in relatively shallow water about 250 kilometres southeast of Halifax, Nova Scotia.
In 1999, Sable became Canada’s first offshore natural gas field to begin production.
