Bruce H. March

Bruce H. March

Bruce March is chairman, president and chief executive officer of Imperial Oil Limited and has been a director of Imperial since January 1, 2008.

A native of Middleport, New York, Mr. March is a graduate of the Rochester Institute of Technology. He joined Mobil Oil at the Buffalo Refinery as a project engineer in 1980 and advanced through increasingly responsible management positions in domestic and foreign operations, including manager of the ExxonMobil Baton Rouge Refinery, project executive in ExxonMobil’s Development Company, and refining director, Europe/Africa/Middle East.

Mr. March is a member of the Canadian Council of Chief Executives, a member of the Advisory Council for the School of Policy Studies at the University of Calgary, and is a director of the United Way of Calgary and Area.

 

Paul Masschelin

Paul J. Masschelin

Paul Masschelin is the Senior vice-president - finance and administration and treasurer, Imperial Oil Limited.

Mr. Masschelin, a native of Belgium, holds an MBA from Catholic University in Leuven, Belgium as well as undergraduate degrees in Commercial Engineering and Actuarial Sciences.

He joined Exxon in Brussels, Belgium in 1980 and has held a variety of positions during his career in Audit, Controller’s and Treasurer’s across Exxon's chemical, upstream and corporate activities. He has held increasingly senior roles in Exxon's financial management functions globally including assignments in Chile, Singapore and Houston.

In 2001, he relocated to Rome with responsibility for the financial aspects of ExxonMobil’s downstream activities in the Mediterranean basin.

In 2003, Mr. Masschelin relocated to Fairfax, Virginia where he led the Global Product Movements and Inventory organization. More recently, in 2007, he was appointed controller, ExxonMobil Refining & Supply Company and ExxonMobil Research and Engineering Company.

On May 1, 2010, Mr. Masschelin was appointed senior vice-president finance and administration and treasurer of Imperial Oil Limited.

 

T.G. (Glenn) Scott

Glenn Scott

Glenn Scott was appointed senior vice-president, resources division, Imperial Oil Limited and president, Imperial Oil Resources in July 2010.

A native of Austin, Texas, Mr. Scott graduated from Texas A&M University in 1986 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Petroleum Engineering.

Mr. Scott joined Mobil Oil Corporation in 1986 as an operations/completions engineer and progressively held more responsible positions in the company. In 1994, he became Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) marketing manager in Doha, Qatar, responsible for developing long-term LNG markets and negotiating sale and purchase agreements.

Following the Exxon and Mobil merger, Mr. Scott became ExxonMobil's UK joint venture manager in London, England in 2001. The following year he was appointed U.S. equity crude sales manager in Fairfax, Va., responsible for selling and optimizing transportation for ExxonMobil’s U.S. crude oil production.

Mr. Scott became operations manager with ExxonMobil Production Company in 2004, based in Houston, responsible for approximately one-third of ExxonMobil’s operated production in the United States.

In 2006 Mr. Scott was appointed president, ExxonMobil Canada Limited and production manager for ExxonMobil Canada East, responsible for ExxonMobil's East Coast Canadian offshore business including the Hibernia offshore operation located off of Newfoundland and Labrador, and the Sable natural gas operation, offshore of Nova Scotia.

Glenn serves on the Canadian Association of Petroleum Producers (CAPP) Board of Governors and is chair of the CAPP NC EPG.

Glenn and his wife, Ellen, have three children and live in Calgary, Alberta.
